A couple of weeks ago, we sang one of my favourite hymns in church, "Brother, sister, let me serve you." A couple of the verses really struck home to me:
I will hold the Christ-light for you in the nighttime of your fear;
I will hold my hand out to you, speak the peace you long to hear.
I will weep when you are weeping;when you laugh I'll laugh with you;
I will share your joy and sorrow, till we've seen this journey through.
Over this year, we have been the recipients of overwhelming love and support. Everyone who read the blog, prayed for the girls, spent an afternoon helping at the house, or sent us cards, held out a light to us in the nighttime of our fear. We are glad that there is more joy than sorrow these days. Thank you for walking this journey through the waters with us.
