We have all survived the big move to Exeter with the help of family and friends who did a lot of work. The girls are settling in but the heat is making life a bit difficult. We love the house a lot and hope everyone can come and visit us soon! We got our first surprise with the house last night. Lucy was awake at 11 (and 3 and 5 - but that is a different story) and as I was nursing her a bat flew around the room. Before I could get Jonathon, it flew downstairs. The squash racquet is now beside the cribs!

We want to extend an invitation to all our family and friends to Lucy and Ella's baptism. It will be held on September 9th at Knox Presbyterian Church in Monkton at 11:15. We have been looking forward to this day for a long time. After the service there will be a potluck lunch for anyone who wants to stay and celebrate. It will be a double celebration as the girls will have turned one earlier in that week.
The girls have everything they could possibly need due to the generosity of our community, and so we would ask for no gifts. Instead, we would love it if a donation to the St. Joe's NICU in London could be made on that day. The NICU is the reason that we are able to celebrate both the girls' baptism and birthday, and it seems fitting to give back to the place that means so much to us. As the date gets closer, I will post the details of how to make a donation. Alternatively, consider donating blood to the Red Cross in recognition of Ella and Lucy. Ella recieved three transfusions and Lucy recieved twelve transfusions during their stay in the NICU. Without the care, time, and blood given by strangers, the girls would not have made it.
We can't wait to see everyone on September 9th!
