Through The Waters

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. Isaiah 43:2a The journey of Ella and Lucy.

It is hot and muggy in Monkton today. The girls are doing very well. They have been eating cereal for breakfast everyday and have solids at dinner time as well. We have been experimenting with making baby food and so far they have tried carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, and green beans. Peas and pears are next on the list. So far, the favourite is clearly sweet potatoes.
The girls were weighed on Thursday at our family doctor. Ella is still 16lbs6oz. Lucy gained a pound in a month and is now 13lbs10oz. Developmentally, both girls are progressing. Ella rolls at will now and can get across the room in a hurry if she wants to. She can get herself up on all fours and rocks but has not quite figured out how to go forward. It will happen very soon though, and our lives will change! Lucy is working on rolling and is getting stronger everyday. She still has difficulty holding her head up while she is on her tummy. She is a very determined little girl and works hard for every step forward. Both girls are laughing, Ella with a belly laugh and Lucy with a silent laugh.

Ella and Lucy grow more delightful every day - they are truly gifts from God!

Hello from Sartoaga Springs NY - it is so wonderful to read about the girls. It is just amazing how I can see Lucy in Amelia. They weigh about the same now. I can hardly wait until I can see them again. Please consider coming this way for a vist. Grandpa Raymond would love it. Great Aunt Sandra
