Through The Waters

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. Isaiah 43:2a The journey of Ella and Lucy.

The girls' Great-Grandpa Raymond made this special rug for them. It is a beautiful and special addition to their room all the way from Cornwall. Thank you Grandpa!

We have had a busy week. We had our first sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Lee's farm. It took a lot of organizing to get out of the door but was a big success. There were lots of aunts and uncles happy to help out. Easter Sunday was spent in Glencoe with the McDonald family where there were a lot more aunts and uncles! It was a great weekend.

Overall the girls are doing very well. The girls do have on-going concerns that will likely continue for some time however. Ella struggles with eating. We work hard with her everyday to make sure she is getting the nutrition that she needs. She is very picky about what and how she will eat. We are having a feeding specialist come to help us out in this regard. Lucy's overall tone is still quite low from being on oxygen and being so sick earlier in her life. We continue to work with a physiotherapist for both girls. At the moment, we still have appointments nearly every week. We are very busy!
