Another update - Ella is recovering very well from the surgery. She is still sedated and on morphine but her oxygen levels are good and she will start her feeds again tonight. We are very thankful that things seem to be going so well for Ella.

Lucy is quite sick. Her surgery was more stressful and she was working hard to compensate for her PDA before the surgery. The surgeon had to leave a chest tube in and she doesn't seem to like it at all. She has also contracted an infection and is on antibiotics. Throughout last night she was unstable and while she is a bit more stable today her oxygen needs are very, very high. She has always been very active and this activity is now causing her body extra stress so she is on some strong sedatives to stop her motion. Lucy is looking and acting very uncomfortable.

Please keep both girls in your prayers and especially Lucy as she struggles with her recovery.
