Through The Waters

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. Isaiah 43:2a The journey of Ella and Lucy.

Today is the third anniversary of the girls coming home from the hospital. Those days seem far away when we are busy listening to all their stories, playing hide and seek, and mediating disagreements with our two happy girls. Other days, the NICU does not seem that far away when we continue to work with our physiotherapists, worry that colds may worsen, and head off for speech appointments. We are so grateful that we made it through our NICU experience and are now enjoying every day with our miracle girls! The girls are helping Uncle Jamie look for his cat Ruby under the bed.
Anna is just starting to like to read.

The girls all got new sweaters from Aunt Michelle.
Ella doing stamps with Aunt Stephanie, home from the North.
Ella helping Daddy shovel the driveway.
We have been reading a story that has snow angels in it, and so we all went out and made angels one snowy morning.
Anna loves her blanket and her jacket. She always wants to go out and she carries her coat around at the mention of outside.
This is a picture of Anna from this morning. She insisted on the boots and mitts.
