Last week when it was snowing, the girls decided they wanted to go to the beach. They got into their bathing suits and practiced swimming and had a picnic. We all wish it was the summer!

We also Skyped with Aunt Stephanie and Grandpa McDonald in Malawi, which was very exciting. They were wearing their bathing suits at the time, perhaps wishing they too were in Africa!

Today Ella and Lucy got ready to go on a "journey to Africa." They organized their train - with the trunk behind them full of everything they need. I'm not sure that they would need a Kleenex box, a photo album, three teddy bears, a penguin, and a box of crayons, but they will be prepared for every eventuality!
