Last night was another good night. Everything seems to be fairly stable - both girls are doing well and have had no major issues. Both of them are now being fed one milli-litre of breast milk every three hours. This is up for every six hours initially and then every four hours. Hopefully they will continue to digest the milk at this rate as well as they have been doing.

When Lucy was born her eyes were still fused together. A couple of days later, one eye opened. We were delighted last night to see that both of her eyes were open.

Tomorrow, the cardiologist will come and determine if and when Ella will need surgery on her open duct. S/he will also check out Lucy, although she doesn't have a detectable murmur yet. I am hopeful that it will not show up until she is a little bit stronger. Three ounces is really a lot of difference when you are that tiny!

We are so thankful that things are well now and are hopeful that they will remain quiet.
